Transplant Story Abridgedfrom what i can remember and from recounts of the story, i was fairly sick before the transplant. My pfts (pulmonary function tests) were prob low 20 percents i think. It had been going down for about a year and a half or so, after being admitted in the hospital and not being able to go home not on oxygen, cause i just couldn't keep the oxygen saturation (O2 SAT) levels up with out it on even when resting. That year i was in the hospital and sick more than i had ever been in before in such a short span, i think i went in like every other month or every three almost.
